Stefan Walczak

A University of Connecticut graduate with a bachelors degree in English and a concentration in creative writing, Connecticut resident Stefan Walczak is a poet, screenwriter, musician, and author, and released his first publication in the world of literature and fiction with his debut horror novel(la), Crimson Sky. As a passionate artist with a deep appreciation for written lyric, Stefan started writing songs at age 13 on his father’s acoustic guitar, and eventually branched out into a wide range of musical genres, while his writing took to the form of poetry and storytelling. Growing up, Stefan would seek out science fiction and horror films, and while reading, he would create customized playlists of instrumental music from musical artists he liked, in order to create a more cinematic reading experience. Now, in 2018, Stefan releases Crimson Sky on the same day as his original musical soundtrack accompaniment of the same name. Intended to be played while read, Crimson Sky is Stefan’s tribute to horror cinema and film scores, and he hopes that it will create the ultimate immersion for fans of fiction and suspense. Crimson Sky, as well as Stefan’s first poetry collection, Poems of My Past, are now available in digital and paperback formats on Amazon and wherever books are sold.
