Stefania Patinella is founder of Seed to Table, where she provides Integrative Nutrition and Health Coaching for individuals with chronic conditions. She is also a Chef whose core mission is to prove to kids (and their picky adults) that healthy food and delicious food are one and the same. Stefania has launched and directed several food education programs. For eight years, she was Founding Director of the Go!Healthy programs at The Children’s Aid Society in NYC, where she created nutrition education, urban gardening and food justice programs that served 7,500 kids each year. She was Executive Director of Healing Kitchens Institute, where she trained doctors and other health providers in Culinary Medicine. She was also Executive Chef at Amherst College. Stefania has held multiple teaching positions, including at Columbia University, The New School, and City University of New York. Seed to Table was born in 2005, when Stefania received a Fulbright grant to research traditional foodways in Sicily, which is where her family originates and where she was partly raised. www.seedtotable.org
