Stephane Nguyen is an acclaimed culinary instructor, author, and owner of the French Cooking Academy, an online school. Not a cook by trade, Stephane is a self-taught chef who spent thousands of hours studying and practicing the ins and outs of French cuisine using dozens of culinary reference guides and school books made available by major French culinary schools. Stephane also has a passion for discovering recipes and practicing techniques found in older classic culinary books, such as Escoffier’s Guide Culinaire. "My goal is to make French cooking accessible to everyone." Stephane's accessible and fun approach to decoding the complexity of French cuisine has garnered hundreds of thousands of followers online and forged a community of French cooking enthusiasts across the globe since the inception of his online culinary school. The goal of his school is to teach home cooks around the world the many wonders of French cuisine from the comfort of their own kitchens. "The French Cooking Academy: 100 Essential Recipes for the Home Cook" is a joint effort that came to fruition with his wife Kate acting as co-writer and photographer.
