Stephanie Rohr

Stephanie Rohr (she/her) is an author, designer, and fiber artist based in Chicago. "Self-Care Cross-Stitch" was released in 2022 following her debut book "Feminist Cross Stitch" in 2019. She began her cross stitch business stephXstitch in 2010 as a side gig to her work as a musician and theatre artist. StephXstitch grew into a thriving Etsy shop and a recognizable fixture in the maker scene in Chicago as well as the amazing online cross stitch community. Stephanie was a speaker at Midwest Craft Con in 2020. Stephanie and her cross stitch work have been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Cross-Stitcher Magazine, Craft Business Magazine, The Chicago Reader, London Sunday Times, and on Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, Time Out Chicago, Paste Magazine, GoodHousekeeping.com, Mashable, Crafternews.com, Steotch.com, Bust.com, OC Weekly, My Modern Met, and Uproxx. Her work has also appeared on Comedy Central's "Key & Peele" and Stephanie herself made an appearance on "Craft Room Crash". She has also done design work for Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign and the Chicago Blackhawks.
