Stephen Mcdermott

I am a sixty two year old father of four. I originated from Scotland , lived in London for fifteen years then moved to Ireland where I have resided for the last twenty seven years. I grew up on an island and now live in a seaside town on the West coast which probably explains my love of the water! I work full-time in the Healthcare Industry so writing Wild Atlantic Swimming was my first book though I think I may have the bug now and am planning my next, totally different genre project. I was inspired to swim for charity and write the book because of my youngest daughter who underwent a transplant. I would like to think that inspiration may get passed on to anyone who reads the book.
