Stephen Rule

Stephen Rule was born in Wrecsam and brought up in Coed-llai in the north east. He now lives in Abermor-ddu with his wife, Angharad, their son, Bedwyr Llŷr and their furry feline, Mali. He was educated most recently at Aberystwyth University and has since been teaching Welsh to high school students and adults for over a decade. He runs the @CymraegDoctor Twitter account which aims to help learners and native speakers alike enjoy and practise their Welsh. Stephen’s books represent his interests; the Welsh language as a modern tongue, the other five living Celtic languages, and Welsh history. He is an avid campaigner for Welsh independence and has chaired various local groups and gatherings since 2017. His secret love of singing survives online via niche YouTube videos.
