Judge Steven K. Dankof, Sr. Is a General Division judge on the Montgomery County, Ohio Common Pleas Court, serving continuously since January, 2011, following his appointment to the Bench by then Ohio Governor Ted Strickland. Judge Dankof graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio University in 1973 and graduated with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin’s School of Law (Townes Hall) in 1976. Upon graduation from law school, Judge Dankof was a practicing plaintiffs’ and criminal defense trial lawyer in Dayton, Ohio for 35 years before his appointment to the Bench. Judge Dankof has lectured for numerous organizations including the Ohio Common Pleas Judges Association, the Dayton and Ohio State Bar Associations, and the University of Cincinnati Honors College and School of Law.
