Steven Kuchuck, LCSW, is a New York State licensed psychoanalyst, psychotherapist, and clinical consultant in private practice in New York City. He is the Editor in Chief of Psychoanalytic Perspectives: An International Journal of Integration and Innovation and Associate Editor of the Relational Perspectives Book Series from Routledge. Steven is on the Board of Directors, supervisor, and faculty at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP),where he is also Co-Director of Curriculum for the four year training program in adult psychoanalysis, faculty and supervisor in NIP's National Training Program, faculty member at the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies,the Institute for Expressive Analysis, and the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City, and a supervisor at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles. From 2011-2013,he co-moderated and organized the online colloquium series for the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and co-chairs the international chapters committee. Steven's professional writing appears in Psychoanalytic Dialogues, Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Studies in Gender and Sexuality, Psychoanalytic Perspectives, and The Psychoanalytic Review, among other publications. Most recently, he is a contributor to and editor of Clinical Implications of the Psychoanalyst's Life Experience: When the Personal Becomes Professional (Routledge,2014), which is a 2015 Gradiva Award nominee from the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP) for best edited book of 2014, and short-listed for the 2015 American Board and Academy of Psychoanalysis (ABAPsa) prize for best psychoanalytic anthology from 2014. With Adrienne Harris, he contributed to and co-edited The Legacy of Sandor Ferenczi: From Ghost to Ancestor (Routledge, 2015).
