Stuart Jonathan Wakefield

Hi, my name is Stuart and i am the author of the Chief Inspector Johnny Allen mysteries, Sins of our past and The Playground. I was born and have lived in Reading in Berkshire all my life. I have been married to my wife Susan for thirty-three years, we have three grown-up daughters, Joanna, Gemma, and Amanda, and one grandson, Oliver. I am a qualified swimming instructor, i spent eight years at Reading swimming club, and since 2015 i have worked for swimexpert and Hydrokids swim schools teaching group lessons to children, and private lessons to adults and children. I am also a qualified print finisher and spent thirty years along side swimming coaching manufacturing paperback books. I am a lover of most sports, especially cricket, i follow Chelsea football club and name Sir Ian Botham as my sporting hero. I am a lover of crime novels which started my love of writing.
