Su Falcon is a writer, editor, poet, publisher, game designer, organic gardener, and feeder of chickens, cats, and occasional humans. As a writer and editor, Su has had a lifelong affair with language, and this weaves through everything she does. With five years as publisher and senior editor for the digital magazine The Dirt on Organic Garden, she produced over fifty issues, along with several spinoff publications. She's written glossaries on everything from accounting to online games. She's also written the long-selling How I Survived My First Year with Chickens, with a sequel in the works. Her most recent book is Mechanics of Poetry, a new edition of a book she originally wrote in 1995 as a solution to teaching poetry to non-poets and helping poets level up their work. This book will drop in December, 2024.
