Summer Raine Mclerran

Summer Raine McLerran is an author in Northern California, where the big redwoods and beautiful coastline fueled an early love of storytelling. Writing since the age of seven, Summer has always been drawn to tales of adventure, fantasy, and the allure of the high seas. While she wrote entries in private journals and short stories in spiral bound notebooks, Summer also wrote a collection of short stories her senior year of high school that incorporated the history and ghost stories of the summer sleep-away camp she attended. A Drop of Faerie's Blood is her debut novel. Summer earned her Bachelor of the Arts Degree from Sonoma State University in English and Creative Writing and continues to dream up imaginative worlds full of rich history and pirate adventures. When she's not writing, Summer attends Renaissance Faires, plays Dungeons and Dragons, and is a speech pathology student with the hope of becoming a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary aged students.
