SunHee was born in South Korea and spent many years working as an animator. Her love of storytelling inspired her to create books for children. She moved to the United States to study at the Academy of Art University, where she earned an MFA in Visual Development. Growing up with her own challenges, SunHee’s greatest wish is to share messages of love and belonging with young readers. She now lives in the Bay Area with her husband, two kids, and Cookie, who is a dog.
