Susan G. Allred

Received a BA from UNC Charlotte, MA from Gardner Webb University and an EdS from Appalachian State University, all in North Carolina. She taught in public middle and high schools for twenty years and was an administrator for twenty years at the school, district, and state levels in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.  For the past 2 years she has been working with Bev Britton on the future of public education to produce the most recent publication"Stuff that Works, Works!" truth and hope for public education systems. The hope for this work is to inspire, provide support for and coaching for educators who know that it is simple but not easy and they are willing to lead in continuous systemic improvement.
