Susan Hanley

Frisky Meditates is Susan's first children's book. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York where she was a varsity tennis player. She spent many years as an advertising account executive, and later worked in philanthropic organizations including the Dana Foundation, PBS Headquarters, and as a fundraiser for several Long Island nonprofits. Susan found herself on a spiritual quest to find peace and happiness in her own life. After ten years studying Buddhism, she decided to write this book to introduce children to basic meditation practice at an early age.
