Susan Holt Kralovansky

Susan Holt Kralovansky is the author of 19 beloved picture books, including the Texas favorites TWELVE COWBOYS ROPIN’, HOW FIRE ANTS GOT THEIR FIRE, and THERE WAS A TALL TEXAN WHO SWALLOWED A FLEA. One of Susan’s newest books is a photo-illustrated, bilingual board book – COUNTING TEXAS COLORS. Susan was recently named an International Latino Book Award finalist for her bilingual book, THE BOOK THAT JAKE BORROWED. Susan is a former librarian and a frequent and popular presenter at schools, festivals, and conferences. She grew up in Indiana but now lives in Georgetown, Texas.
