Susan Montgomery

Susan Montgomery is an author and artist. She writes and illustrates ukulele-themed picture books that highlight meaningful topics, such as friendship, creativity, and the joy of sharing music with others. Susan is also beginning to branch out and explore other areas she is passionate about, including rescue cats and pet adoption. Her books often celebrate the beauty of connection and the importance of shared experiences. Living with chronic pain, Susan strives to show others that nothing is impossible. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education. Susan lives in Bowling Green, Ohio, with her tuxedo cat, Tracey who loves crinkle toys and long naps.
