Susan Moynihan grew up a Navy brat, traveling the world with her family before settling down in Annapolis MD for high school. After college she headed off to NYC as a music writer before discovering travel writing. She covered honeymoons as travel editor for Conde Nast’s bridal mags, and was editor in chief of Bonnier Corp’s Destination Weddings & Honeymoons and SPA magazines. Since going freelance, she’s written for many magazines and websites, including Architectural Digest, USA Today, airbnb and Destination I Do, and plans travel under the name The Honeymoonist. Based in Annapolis, her first book was published by Reedy Press in September 2019. An avid history buff, she loves road trips, ukuleles, the Wild West and doing anything on, in or near the water.
