A reformed journalist, Susan Prosser has stopped trying to bring more information to the people, and now focuses on helping them make sense of the information they already have. She is the coauthor of six books about FileMaker, most recently O'Reilly Media's FileMaker Pro 13: The Missing Manual. Susan has been a contributing writer to FileMaker Advisor Magazine and was the Technical Editor and contributing writer for Advisor Basics for FileMaker Pro. She’s the author of three tech briefs commissioned by FileMaker Inc.—Using Charts in FileMaker Pro, Using Container Fields in FileMaker Pro and Write Great Technical Documents for Your FileMaker Solutions. Susan is the president and owner of DBHQ (www.dbhq.net), a FileMaker consulting firm and a 2006 winner of the FileMaker Mad Dog Public Relations Award. Susan is a repeat presenter at DevCon, speaking in 2013 on User Experience, in 2012 on Dashboard Design and Charts, and in 2005 on Instant Web Publishing. Susan is a skill junkie and currently obsesses about baking great croissants, quilting and mid-century modern design.
