Susan Tuttle

Susan Tuttle resides in a small, rural town in the state of Maine. Her studio, although tiny, has a marvelous view of the woods, which provides countless moments of inspiration as she works -- she enjoys immersing herself in photography, iPhoneography, digital art, and abstract mixed-media painting. Susan has a passion for blogging, where she attempts to capture through photographs and the written word, the beauty of all things simple and ordinary in her life. You will also find a number of DIY projects, crafts, and thrifty fashion ideas on her blog. Susan has authored four books: Art of Everyday Photography: Move Toward Manual & Make Creative Photos (North Light Books, August 2014), Photo Craft: Mixed Media and Digital Approaches to Transforming Your Photographs (North Light Books, November 2012, co-authored with Christy Hydeck), Digital Expressions: Creating Digital Art with Adobe Photoshop Elements (North Light Books, April 2010), and Exhibition 36: Mixed-Media Demonstrations and Explorations (North Light Books, 2008). Her work can also be seen in a variety of other North Light Books publications, Somerset Studio magazine, and several Stampington & Company special publications. Susan's iPhoneography has won several awards and recognitions and has been displayed in exhibitions in London, Paris, New York City and Prague. She was recently named Technical Advisor for Somerset Digital Studio magazine She teaches online photography, iPhoneography and Photoshop classes.
