It works. I’ve accomplished ⬆️ this time & time again. From firsthand experience, my books share the power of quality reading ~ captured Together at home or in the classroom. It's quite amazing. Reading in Partnership is a refreshing part of the day & boosts well-being for elementary age children to young adults. P R O T I P : Read in Partnership for approximately 15 minutes, 4 to 5 days a week, take an additional 10 minutes to discuss the story, let young readers help guide the story discussion with questions, connections, & reflections. This investment has huge returns on their prosperity! Here's Why: The "Science of Reading" is not 1 formula. It's a series of consistently taught skills using a multitude of factors that employ the senses while instructing on vocabulary, comprehension, schema, questioning & reasoning and so on. Encouraging these accumulates to Critical Thinking Skills which is a key feature in every aspect of a happy, successful life. Here's the Scoop: Kid's crave wonder & resolution in recognizable, school-age themes! Children enjoy partnership in their learning. Thus, quality books are part of this priceless journey. My books advocate for literacy with layers of learning in reachable routines. We all know those well-deserved moments of entertainment i.e. movies, video games or big publisher books. Yet, did you know that Reading in Partnership with kids & teens also has a tremendous, positive effect? Young Adults do not always have the same encouraging literacy opportunities. So, I wrote Harbor's Edge. Harbor’s Edge is my YA novel; a coming-of-age mystery & the 1st legend of the MO'O. Older audiences enjoy too!
