Suzanne Springer is a proud Kansas City native, born and raised in the suburbs, where she now raises her own family. Happily married for nearly a decade, Suzanne and her husband are blessed with three wonderful children, ages 7, 5, and 3, who bring endless joy and adventure into their lives. Their household is also filled with the love and loyalty of Belle, a sweet 15-year-old Pomeranian who’s been a beloved part of the family. With 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Suzanne has had a fulfilling career, but her most cherished memories come from her time working as a Pediatric Nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Her experiences with young patients there left an enduring impact, and she often recalls the special kids who touched her heart with their courage and joy. As a family, the Springers love spending time together, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, camping out in their basement, riding their golf cart, and exploring the great outdoors, including fishing in their own backyard pond. They are also devoted members of Westside Family Church in Lenexa, Kansas, where their faith in Jesus plays a central role in their lives. For Suzanne, being a mother means sharing the love of Jesus Christ with her children, which inspired her to fulfill her dream of writing a children’s book. Suzanne’s heartfelt hope for her book is to help create cherished moments between parents, grandparents, and caregivers and the precious children they love. She prays that these moments will leave a lasting impression on the hearts of young readers, sharing God’s love in a way that is both comforting and inspiring.
