Sylvia Melvin

Sylvia Melvin is an elementary school intervention teacher. She is a Canadian but resides in Florida with her husband of forty-five years. Her writing often reflects her Canadian heritage. She has one son and twin grandsons in Maine. For the past twelve years, she has belonged to the Panhandle Writers Group which has motivated her to publish short stories and eight novels-Summer Guest, Helena:Unwavering Courage, Southern Sage:The Honorable Woodrow Melvin,Death Behind the Dunes,Death Beyond the Breakers, Death On Blackwater Bay, Convictions and Eternal Surrender.
