T. Scott Hendricks was born and raised in Utah, graduated from the University of Utah, and left the state to work for the FBI. He served in Washington D.C., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Amarillo, Texas, and Chicago, Illinois. He returned to Amarillo, Texas, where he retired after more than 33 years of service as a Special Agent doing primarily criminal investigations. He and Marian, his wife of 55 years, are the parents of 6 children and have been blessed with 18 grandchildren. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has served in a variety of responsibilities including Ward and Stake Young Men President, Bishop, Stake President, Mission President, and Temple President. He currently serves as a Stake Patriarch. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hunting with good dogs and working with horses.
