Tabitha Cabrera

Tabitha Cabrera is an Attorney with a Human Service degree and a Juris Doctorate. She has spent her career working in public service. She has published seven books with her brother Mike Barnett: “Do You Talk the Way I Talk?” and "Do You Talk the Way I Talk?" in hardcover with bonus book "It's My Party," "Me and My AAC." "What's the Commotion with My Emotions?" "Hablas Como Yo?" "Can I See Autism?" "It's My Party." A children’s book series focusing on communication, friendship, and learning to look at the world from a different view. Four characters, Tyler, who speaks but is in the process of learning words. Inez, who has lots of words and scripts, Bea, who communicates with the pecs system, and Ben, who uses an AAC device. She has two children, a son and a daughter the inspirations for the children’s book series.
