I have been a reporter since 1974. I worked for six newspapers including The Miami Herald and The Fresno Bee and for TheStreet. I was also Us Airways staff writer and I now write for Forbes.. My newest book, which came out in January, is "Unions Flying High: Airline Labor Power in the 21st Century." I have also written the only biography of Carl Furillo: "Kenny Riley and Black Union Labor Power in the Port of Charleston" and "American Airlines, US Airways and the Creation of the World's Largest Airline"
