Teikitevaamanihii HUUKENA, known as Teiki Originally from Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands, Teiki comes from a distinguished lineage of artist sculptors, renowned for creating the iconic Marquesan tiki. Passionate about the ancestral art of Marquesan tattooing (Patutiki), he has been practicing it since 1990 and has led a training center specializing in this unique tradition. As an active member of the Marquesan Academy, he is dedicated to preserving and passing on the cultural heritage of his archipelago.
