Terence McSweeney is a retired middle school English and Social Studies teacher with a BA in Political Science from Boston College and an MS in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University. The Quest is his third manuscript. His first book, Poems & Thoughts is a work of original oil paintings, poetry, and observations. Green Underwear, his second book by contrast, is an autobiography about growing up in the fifties and sixties during the Cold War era. The Quest is the adventure of two brothers, Cillian and Patrick McGonegal, and their companions as they work to unravel a mystery of an artifact that holds the key to time itself. His fourth book is a children's book, Little One's Big Day, a reflection of a grandparent who is separated from a grandchild during the pandemic. The sequel to The Quest, The Twelve Gates is the second book of the McGonegal Chronicles trilogy, and the third book, Redemption, and Illumination: The Way Home, is the conclusion of the trilogy and now available. Between the Folds, The Agency: The Aranas Years is his latest work. Mr. McSweeney is currently working on two projects: Robots Have Feelings Too and The Homecoming. Dates of release to follow.
