Terence Mitford

Terence Mitford served for 30 years as a UK police officer. His varied career included time on CID, and time in charge of a dept dealing with serious sexual offences, domestic violence, and child abuse. He was a police self defence instructor and martial artist. He planned to write novels from an early age and a few years after retiring from the force he took on the challenge. "I love to sit behind my key board, create some characters and let them loose. The plot unfolds naturally and organically as the characters evolve. It's important to me to inject a gritty authenticity to the story and bring the characters to life through interior dialogue. I have so many ideas and books inside me, it's frustrating that I cannot get them all out at once."
