Teresa Jordan S-M was a Chilean French teacher and a bilingual commercial secretary (English-Spanish), who worked in Santiago and Viña del Mar. Her profound love for literature influenced her career as an educator, leading her to guide groups of pupils aged 8 to 14 to create writings honing their written expression in French. She participated in literary seminars organized by esteemed Chilean poets and writers like Alfonso Calderón and Roque Esteban Scarpa. Among her favorite poets were Efrain Barquero and Hugh Pratter, who inspired her, along with novelist Taylor Caldwell. Her numerous excursions across America, Europe, and Oceania gave her enriching experiences that enhanced her writing. Teresa Jordan S-M is no longer with us, having passed away in November 2017. Her legacy continues to inspire, reminding us of her passion for literature and her profound impact as an educator.
