Born in South Korea and raised in Iowa, Teresa earned an MEd from the University of Houston and an MDiv from Vanderbilt Divinity School. Rev. Teresa is an ordained minister through the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and currently serves as a chaplain for older adults. In her spare time she can be found eating noodles, reading middle grade novels, or working on one of many unfinished art projects. Teresa is the author of Mother God, co-author of The Peace Table: A Storybook Bible, and co-author of the forthcoming picture book Sparking Peace, which releases in April 2025. She and her spouse live in Saint Paul, Minnesota with three adorable and exhausting young children.
