T. S. Dobson

Teresa S. Dobson graduated from the University of West Florida with a BA in Studio Art. She currently teaches art at a local high school. Her love for art has transformed from drawing and painting for local art shows, to expanding her audience now as an author/illustrator. She has been writing books using her author name T.S. Dobson since 2014 starting with teen Bible studies, devotionals, and coloring books. In the last few years she has spent her time focused on creating children’s books, inspired by the local communities of Northwest Florida. From the sandy beaches, to the farming communities in the local area she grew up in, her books are interactive with fun facts presented in each story. “Jay Town”, “Farmlife”, “Meet Hermit the Crab”, “Hermit Goes to Sea”, “Rainbow the Flying Cow”, and her most recent book release “The Day The Tumbleweed Rolled”, are a few of her books. When she’s not teaching and writing books, she is very active in the community with local events and organizations. She just recently expanded her audience to include author visits to Elementary schools.
