Tex Stanly is an inspiring author dedicated to empowering children through literature that reflects their culture, experiences, and potential. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Marcus grew up in a close-knit community where storytelling was an integral part of daily life. After completing his degree in English Literature, Tex decided to channel his passion for writing into creating children's books that celebrate the beauty, strength, and brilliance of young Learners. His works aim to boost self-esteem and promote a sense of pride in young readers by offering stories where children are the heroes of their own narratives. His debut book, "Black Boy Magic" was an instant hit, encouraging Black kids to embrace their uniqueness and stand tall in the face of challenges. Through his writing, Tex has become a voice of inspiration, helping to fill the gap in children's literature with books that reflect the lived realities and dreams of little ones. His books are used in schools, community centers, and homes across the country, reminding kids everywhere that they are capable of greatness. Tex currently lives in Atlanta with his family, where he continues to write, speak at schools, and mentor young aspiring authors.
