The Christian Science Publishing Society

Founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1898 to “promote and extend the religion of Christian Science,” The Christian Science Publishing Society is the publishing arm of The First Church of Christ, Scientist. Well known for the Pulitzer Prize-winning CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, an international daily news source founded in 1908, the Publishing Society also produces THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE JOURNAL, the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SENTINEL, the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY Bible Lessons, and THE HERALD OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE, which is published in 14 languages. In addition, The Publishing Society produces a wide array of written and listening material ranging from biographies and histories to children’s books and inspirational music.
