Hello Readers! I am so excited to be announcing my new books to you. I hope they open your minds to new information about old and new topics. Before writing my books, I worked as a Reading Specialist in Elementary and Middle Schools. It was the most fantastic job in the world. Imagine working with a struggling reader when suddenly, that light goes off in their brain to let you know they 'get it' now. It was the best feeling. I also taught writing classes to struggling writers. As I faced frustrated writers each year, I would tell them 'the secret of all good writers'... All writers write about only two things: things they know about and things they love. So, when I retired, I did precisely that. I began to write about something I knew about and something that I loved. I love Football, and I love Music. I grew up in a musical household. Many genres of music played throughout my home, from opera to show tunes to American Songbooks and, of course, rock and roll. There is always a song playing in my head. My love of football stems from the memories of my precious father. We had our teams to cheer on, and he taught me most of what I know about football. I continue to discover the world in many places and hope to write about my discoveries as the years pass. I hope you will enjoy my discoveries and continue to follow my writing path. Thank you.
