Thomas Alan Palmer

Thomas Palmer has been keenly aware of God’s presence in his life since his youth. From a young age, he dreamed of serving God as a missionary pilot, holding tightly to this vision as he completed Bible training, Technical Airframe and Powerplant mechanic training, and specialized flight instruction. During his college years and beyond, Thomas served his church through youth ministry, college ministry, and music worship. These experiences deepened his love for God and his commitment to rightly dividing His word of truth. He is grateful to his mentors and Bible teachers for equipping him with the tools for in-depth Bible study, accurate interpretation, application, and critical thinking. He is most grateful for his favorite teacher, the Holy Spirit. “The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps” (Proverbs 16:9). Thomas’s love for scripture has grown into a passion for disciple-making, a mission Jesus has commissioned him to fulfill. Over the years, he has found joy in mentoring others closely, teaching men to know God deeply rather than simply filling them with knowledge. He has brought this commitment to the church, helping to establish discipleship programs while equipping and connecting willing mentors and disciples. He dreams of developing new discipleship ministries in churches across the nation as an inspirational speaker and facilitator. Encouraged to share his teaching gift and discipleship experience through writing, Thomas offers readers an accessible, down-to-earth approach. He aims to instill a passion for God’s word and discipleship in his readers' hearts. With time short and precious, he strives to offer a rewarding experience for each reader, leaving them feeling that their time was well invested.
