Thomas Misco earned his B.A. in history and geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Iowa. He has recently published Preparing to Succeed at U.S. Colleges and Universities: A Guidebook for Chinese Students (2015) and Cross-Cultural Case Studies of Teaching Controversial Issues (2014). Misco is a past recipient of the Miami University Distinguished Scholar Award (2013) and a Fulbright Senior Specialist Fellowship (2014).
