Thomas R. McDaniel

Thomas R. McDaniel is an Emeritus Professor of Education at Converse College, where he continues to teach graduate courses in School Law and School Supervision. He is also Executive Editor of The Clearing House, a journal for middle and secondary school teachers. At Converse he served as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Provost, and Interim President during his 45 year tenure. He writes on such topics as school law, policy, pedagogy, and classroom management and student motivation. He gives workshops and talks on these subjects locally and nationally. He is the author of eight books, 35 textbook chapters, and 250 professional articles in 60 different journals.
