Tiffany Petricini is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State Shenango. She completed her doctoral program at Duquesne University with emphases on communication ethics and the rhetoric of technology. She faces the challenge of teaching humanities and social sciences in a region struggling for economic recovery. Her research reflects personal interests in media ecology, phenomenology, human development and technology and the works of Walter J. Ong. These interests support her community involvement concerning the rights of children, poverty, domestic violence and human rights.
