Tim Plester

Tim Plester is best known as an actor and a filmmaker. His extensive credits for film and TV include: AFTER LIFE, GAME OF THRONES and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. His documentary work includes THE BALLAD OF SHIRLEY COLLINS, SOUTHERN JOURNEY (REVISITED) and the award-winning WAY OF THE MORRIS - all co-directed with Rob Curry. Previously, he created the cult comedy shorts ‘ANT MUZAK’, BLAKE’S JUNCTION 7 and WORLD OF WRESTLING. Winner of the 1992/93 UK Student Playwright of the year award and a former member of Sarah Kane's writers group at Paines Plough Theatre Company, Tim's work for the theatre includes the stageplays ZAPRUDER HIGHWAY, DAKOTA, MAD DOG KILLER LEPER FIEND and YELLOW LONGHAIR (collected together in paperback as 1-2-3-4 PLAYS).
