Todd H Davis

Todd H Davis is the father of two girls and a boy – teenagers at the time of writing his first novel, The Trailer Behind the Garage – and lives with his “smarter-than-me” wife in the Houston, Texas, suburb of Cypress, which is the setting for his novels. He spent many years at Big Four accounting firms as a customs broker and global trade consultant. Todd spent most of his life in the Houston area, except for the two years in Japan in his youth, teaching English in churches in the Nagasaki area. While he was getting used to Asian culture, his wife, who had recently arrived in the US from China for studies, was getting used to American culture. They have spent the time since then getting used to each other. He claims his only qualifications for writing his first novel was watching too many romcoms and family movies during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 and asking “what if” about the plots.
