The author was born in Genoa in 1953. After successfully defending his thesis at the Faculty of Law, he left for the United States where he spent a year as a student at the University of Colorado in Boulder and then as a ship-broker in New York. Upon his return to Italy he leads many jobs until he lands at the naval insurance company which makes him head of its claims office. His marriage and the decision to spend a year in Chile with his wife and son date back to those years. Upon his return he will become an honorary magistrate at the Court of Genoa, having already written three crime novels. The first written in 1989 and set in Genoa. The one currently successfully published on Amazon under the title of "Black November" and rejected by numerous publishing houses in the nineties. He considers himself one of the founders of Genoese crime fiction that will be so successful after 2000. After retiring he has not stopped writing crime stories and practicing martial arts as a black belt in karate.
