Tony Bakkejord

Tony Bakkejord is a Norwegian psychiatrist and forensic psychiatrist. He lives with his wife and three kids in the Bodø, a town just above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. Tony has a university degree in history, with a special interest in the Roman Empire, the Viking Age and the Crusades. Since 2016, Tony's been writing and publishing books with his friend and co-author Ole Åsli. In 2017-19, the duo wrote and published the Viking Ventures trilogy in Norwegian. The first book, "Viking" was published in English in 2020, and "Outlaw" followed in 2021. The third book "Free" is scheduled for release in December 2021. In 2020 they published "A Harvest of Broken Stars", their first fantasy novel in English.
