Tony Englund

Tony Englund is the author of more than a dozen soccer coaching books. He is a United Soccer Coaches Master Coach and the inaugural Jeff Tipping Award honoree. Tony's teams have earned more than seven hundred wins, and since 2015 his teams have played in multiple USYS National Tournaments, an NPL Final Four and a USCS National Tournament and most recently a pair of ECNL National Playoffs. Tony is also an accomplished clinician, having presented at the United Soccer Coaches Convention as well as numerous state and regional events. Tony's books include the 2012 publisher's best-seller Style and Domination: A Tactical Analysis of FC Barcelona, which sold copies in 33 countries. He holds a Master's Degree (military history) from the University of Minnesota. Tony coaches for St. Croix Soccer Club. He and his wife Beth live in Stillwater, Minnesota.
