Tony Rogers is the winner of the Nilsen Prize for a First Novel and the Writer's Voice of New York Capricorn Prize for a collection of short stories. The prizewinning novel was published by Southeast Missouri State University Press, and his memoir, Fake Smiles, was published by TidePool Press. His fiction and non-fiction have appeared in over twenty publications including The Gettysburg Review, Pleiades, Thema, North Dakota Quarterly, and the Boston Globe Magazine. He is a former member of the Washington, DC musicians union. He holds degrees from Yale and Harvard Law School.
