Torben Riise

Torben Riise - a native of Denmark - holds a PhD in biotechnology and an MBA in business economy and has held executive positions in several large, international biotech companies for more than two decades. In 1992, he established his own consulting business in Florida. Torben is a freelance writer with more than 250 articles in Europe and USA. He has published six novels and three non-fiction books and has written the lyrics to two CDs and the libretto to a musical. He has just finished his sixth novel. Torben's interests in futurism and the ethics of new technologies are reflected in several of his books as well as in in his many speeches on these subjects.
