www.theperfectpairdolphintrilogy.com Tracy has worked as a college lecturer, as well as writing many short stories and articles for national children's/teen magazines, such as 'Shout', 'Animals and You', 'The Mandy' and 'The Bunty'. She published her first two books, the highly successful 'Children's History of Manchester' and 'Children's History of Lancashire', in 2011, and worked with her brother, David, on 'The Perfect Pair: The Enchanted Mirror', released September 2012. Not long after its release, this was made a core text for the University of Salford's BA(Hons) degree in English and Creative Writing. It was nominated for the People's Book Prize 2013 and won Bronze for non-fiction in The Wishing Shelf Book Awards 2013. An extract from the book also won first prize in a prestigious 'Manchester Evening News' literary competition. The second book in 'The Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy', 'The Perfect Pair: The Mirror Cracks', was released in January 2014 to rave reviews. It was also praised for David's innovative artwork. The final book, 'The Perfect Pair: Shards from the Mirror', was released in February 2016, completing what many recognise as the most important work in dolphinaria history - 'the Blackfish for dolphins'. Tracy and her brother, David, are now collaborating on the 'Belinda Fellgate' children's/teen illustrated fantasy book series. The first novella was released on 18th June 2020, entitled 'Belinda Fellgate: HellCat'. The second novella, 'Belinda Fellgate: The Kiss of Flauros', was published for Kindle on 2nd November 2020. The paperback version was released on 13th October 2021. The third novella, 'Belinda Fellgate: Malamok' was released for Kindle on 11th September 2022.
