Tracy Rolling

Tracy Rolling is an award-winning journalist and copywriter who coins herself a ‘life-long learner’. She has successfully published more than 10,000 articles and blogs and has a growing readership. Tracy is also a non-profit grant writer and a real estate expert. She loves volunteering and has served in various capacities on numerous Boards, including community advocacy and non-profit cancer organizations. Tracy is a recent breast cancer survivor. She credits her husband and family for their love and support. In her spare time, she enjoys playing competitive tennis, walking her adorable dogs, reading romance novels, and spending time with her adult children. About the Authors Authors Stacey LaViola and Tracy Rolling are identical twins. They were born in San Diego, California, and have had an unmistakable bond since birth. Throughout their adult lives, they have pursued careers and family goals that have led them around the world. Today, they are overjoyed to both be living in Houston, Texas, and launching their new, innovative children's book series titled Ruby and Rose. Book one introduces Ruby and Rose as identical twins, who attend their first day of second grade. Sequential books showcase Ruby and Rose on various adventures and relate to topics such as culture, sport, history, and manners. ​ Designed for early readers and neurodivergent individuals, the 40-page books consist of less than 1,000 words. They are richly illustrated with black and white pictures that double as coloring pages to capture a reader's attention. These unique children's books also boast 20 vocabulary words, which are specific to the book's topic and identified in bold. A glossary at the back of the book can be used as a learning tool for parents, teachers, homeschoolers, and caregivers. ​ The book concept was born in the spring of 2020 when the dynamic duo had a strong desire to exercise their imagination. They created characters, reminiscent of their childhood. Moreover, their books give readers a glimpse into life as a twin and inspire children to get out of their comfort zones and try something new. ​​ It is the author's passion to share these delightful stories and coloring books with children around the world.
