Travis James Campbell

Travis James Campbell was born in Albany, GA in 1970. When he was 16 years old he began attending the McCallie School for Boys. He graduated two years later, and then moved on to Wittenberg University, where he majored in history (Phi Alpha Theta) and religion. After earning his BA in 1993, Travis attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he majored in systematic theology, earning his ThM in 1997. While at DTS, he earned three academic awards: The Rollin Thomas Chafer Award in Apologetics (1994), The Loraine Chafer Award in Systematic Theology (1997); and The Rollin Thomas Chafer Award in Apologetics (1997). In 1998 Travis began working on his PhD in theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, writing his dissertation on the relationship between divine foreknowledge and human freedom. He graduated from WTS in 2004. Travis has served as an adjunct professor of philosophy, and has taught Bible, Latin, and History to elementary school children. Since 2004 he has served on the faculty of Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany, GA as a history, comparative religion, and ethics teacher. He lives with his wife (Jenny) and their feisty dog (Winston). His son, Evan, is in college.
