Tulasi Acharya

Tulasi Acharya was born in the South Asian country of Nepal. He earned his Master's degree in English from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. A prolific writer, Acharya has published short stories, poems, and articles in Nepali journals, national newspapers, and online platforms. He moved to the United States in 2008 to pursue a Master's degree in Creative Writing. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University in the U.S. Originally from Nepal, Acharya also has a Master's degree in Women’s Studies and a degree in Professional Writing. Dr. Acharya's short stories have earned accolades such as a Certificate of Excellence from the University of New Hampshire. His research interests include disability, policy, gender and sexuality, marginalized narratives, critical theory, postcolonialism, as well as creative writing and translation.
