Tyson's journey began with modest beginnings in West Texas and led him to extraordinary places worldwide. At a young age, he routinely assumed leadership positions in the US Marine Corps, which presented him with numerous challenges. His decade-long career as a Staff Sergeant—filled with many successes and failures—has been defined by remarkable resilience and transformation. After two deployments to Iraq and surviving a life-altering mortar attack in 2006, he returned to Texas in 2012, where he continued to take on challenging roles. From flight-testing V-22 Ospreys to becoming part of a team that handled the construction and dismantling of bombs in service by the US government, he continued to pursue challenging yet gratifying professions. Despite his varied career paths, writing has become his true passion. Drawing from a lifetime of intense experiences worldwide, he has turned to philosophy and writing to explore more profound questions of perception, manipulation, and the human condition. In writing about diverse topics from psychology to cryptocurrencies, Tyson utilizes his depth of life experience and expertise to break down the most complex issues so that people can better understand them. When not writing or working, Tyson enjoys spending time with his kids. He finds joy in fishing and playing ice hockey—and seeks self-mastery through meditation and mindfulness. “Live to the point of tears.” ― Albert Camus
